St Annes Church, Limehouse.
This Hawksmoor (Architect) church was built in the East End of London around 1720 and is one of London's enormous Baroque churches.
In assocation with the restoration of the organ, works were undertaken to the organ bay area, it's lofty ceiling and assocaited pillars. The ornate plasterwork had many decades of build up accumulation to be carefully removed without damaging the historic material, and then repair and extensive replacement of decorative cast plaster elements was carried out by skilled craftsmen, finishing with appropriate redecoration to the original colour scheme used by Hawksmoor.
