St Anne's Church, Limehouse, London
This Hawksmoor (Architect) church was built in the East End of London around 1720 and is one of London's enormous Baroque churches.
Victorain additions have been removed, reinstating the earlier Baroque stone floor to the chancel and cleaning, repairing and decoration of the chancel ceilings, baldechino and marble floors. Careful repairs to the plasterwork, oak panelling and and stone floor have has been undertaken by skilled craftsmen without damaging the historic material, and finished with appropriate redecoration to the original colour scheme used in this Hawksmoor church. |
